Knitting 301 - Intro to Socks June 10 & 17 9:30am - 12:00 noon (Sundays)
June 10 & 17 9:30am - 12:00 noon (Sundays)
This is an advanced class for students who have taken the 201 - Fingerless Mitts Class (or have experience with the magic-loop technique).
Join us for this two-part class and learn the basics of toe-up socks, magic loop and a wonderfully stretchy bind-off all while creating a cozy slipper/sock in worsted weight yarn. Using a seamless toe technique and two-at-a-time construction, helping to prevent "single sock syndrome," you can have a beautiful pair of socks in no time!
Tools and materials needed (Available at Stitches):
Size 5 – 48” circular needles
2 skeins of Cascade 220 or similar worsted weight yarn
Locking stitch markers
15 years old and up, younger students may be allowed with instructor approval. Please contact us with questions.
We require pre-registration for all of our classes. Fourteen days notice is required to reschedule or cancel any class for a refund. By purchasing this class you are agreeing to these terms.
