In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of sashiko, a Japanese style of visible mending, by creating your own sashiko style denim patch. A great class for beginners and seasoned stitchers alike, this workshop combines elements of texture, color and function to create your own one of a kind patch, or denim mending project. All materials are provided by the instructor, bring a pair of torn jeans if you have them.

What to bring: A pair of jeans that needs mending (or just make a patch if you don't have anything to mend!).

One 2 ½ - hour session.
