This is beginner class for people who have taken the bag or apron class and have completed at least one project on their own (or have similar sewing experience).
Make a decorative pillow for your home in one session. Learn how make piping and put in a zipper. Pillows in stores can cost a fortune and it can be hard to find what you want. Now you can make your own.
One 3 hour session
Tools and materials needed (Available at Stitches):
12" to 24" ruler
Chalk or Fabric Pen
16” Pillow Form
2yds piping cording (1/2in or thinner)
20” regular dress zipper
Fabric - 1 yard total of NON-STRECH fabric (5/8yd for pillow and 3/8yd for piping)
Pre-wash fabric before class.
15 years old and up, younger students may be allowed with instructor approval. Please contact us with questions.
